Sudocrem Sunscreen Mousse SPF50 – Review

Having two young children, I am always very cautious when the sun comes out and ensure they are covered head to toe in suncream and protective clothing.  Although we haven’t had many hot sunny days yet this year, I believe they are just a few weeks away in time for our annual family summer holiday!! **wishful thinking**

With kid’s sun protection being one of the top item’s on my list to pack, I was rather conveniently sent the NEW Sudocrem sunscreen mousse to try.  Being specifically aimed at kids and babies I had two volunteers keen to try it out and the sight of a squirty bottle was something Miss M couldn’t wait to get her little fingers on.

Being a mousse adds a fun, exciting dimension that children enjoy which is great as it is often hard to get them interested in having sun protection applied, and on the positive for mummy, I love the light airy texture of the mousse and it was absorbed into the skin so quickly and easily I was very impressed.  There was no white residue that you usually spend ages trying to rub in with the usual high factor creams.  The Sudocrem sunscreen mousse is SPF 50 and has the highest level of water resistance achievable in a sun care product.  This is fab for fun days at the beach or sunny days with the paddling pool in your back garden.

We enjoyed using the Sudocrem sunscreen mousse particularly for its great absorption and easy application.  It also contains Proderm Technology®, designed for young children and babies, is hypoallergenic and free from ‘nasties’ such as colourants, parabens, preservatives, perfume and additives.  It also helps protects against irritation from salt, chlorine, sand and wind burn.

This new sun protection product definitely has a lot to offer and certainly stands out from the crowd as something new and different to other products currently on the market so is well worth considering when you are next purchasing sun protection for your little ones.

It is available from Boots priced at £15 although currently on offer for £10.
