I’ve always been a fan of Braun products, they always last well and have been of a high standard so I was keen to try the latest epilator from Braun, perfect for summer hair removal.
I received the Silk-épil 7 Bonus Beauty edition which also includes a cleansing brush for the face – something I am now converted to using daily as part of my daily skincare routine. It really cleans the skin so much better than just using your fingers and gets rid of every last trace of make up! With replaceable brush heads, that feel really soft but are tough enough to thoroughly cleanse the skin 6 times better than a manual cleanse. There are two speeds and it is easily operated using soft touch buttons on the back of the brush. It takes two AA batteries to operate which haven’t run out in the time I have been using it.
The epilator itself is rather impressive too! With numerous different heads and caps to attach such as shaver head, trimmer cap, facial cap, sensitive cap and efficiency cap, there really is something to suit everyone and fit all of your needs. I’ve used epilators in the past, but can honestly say this is by far the best one I have tried. It even has a light to help show up every single hair ensuring you don’t miss any. The unit is rechargeable and doesn’t take that long. There is a flashing green light which stops when it is charged.
The epilator has 40 tweezers that can grab hairs as small as 0.5mm leaving legs feeling really smooth. One thing I particularly like is that it is cordless meaning you can find the perfect light to do your epilation under. It can also be wet or dry so if you find it a bit too painful, using it in the bath or shower may be more comfortable for you. I was quite happy using it dry and am impressed with the results.
A little pouch is included to store all the bits and pieces in, which is a really good idea. I’m very happy with this epilator, it’s great quality and comes with lots of accessories, I’d highly recommend.

I also received the Braun Face Beauty Edition to try and I have to say this is a great little set. Coming in it’s own zip up stylish bag is a wand with both an facial epilator head and a face brush. As I mentioned above, I’m totally converted to cleansing with an electric face brush. The epilator head is perfect for any facial hair particularly upper lip and eyebrows. I found this perfect for epilating away the hairs that appear between my eyebrows. A quick go with this avoids the need to pluck that area as is done in just a few seconds.
A real bonus with this set is the fold out mirror, it stands up by itself by itself but most importantly it is a magnifying mirror and has a light!! This mirror is amazing, you can catch every little hair on your face (along with every other blemish and mark on your face!). Absolutely brilliant!
All in all this set is ideal for traveling with the as the facial brush is compact and it comes in a lovely cosmetic bag.
Some great Braun products that are perfect for everyday beauty and the epilator is fantastic, perfect for the upcoming warmer weather to keep you legs smooth and hairfree!
