U Hugs are a new range of customisable dolls from Flair, that come with interchangeable accessories to create a multitude of looks. The dolls comes with holes across the body to insert the accessory pins onto. Each doll comes with 12 pins although you can mix and match these across any of the dolls.
We receivd Sassy Fashion and Scary Baby to try out. Aimed at children 5+, my daughter was quite excited at the sight of these and couldn’t wait to get them out of their boxes. The dolls are made from a soft rubber, so are easy to play with and place the accessories into the holes.
What is really clever and thought out about with these dolls is that they have a panel on the back of their bodies which unpins to reveal a cavity inside the doll, in which you can store most of the small accessories. This is a brilliant idea as with most toys and small parts, they can easily get lost amongst other toys and it’s hard to find the bits you want.
The U Hugs dolls have interchangeable eyes, mouths, accessories for their hands and holes in the front of their bodies. The shoes can even be turned around for a different look. The jacket on Sassy Fashion can be removed as can Scary Baby’s nappy.
Here are some different looks Miss M created by switching the pins around. She seems to enjoy the dolls and playing with the pins and is often found carrying one of these dolls around with her.
The U Hugs are a new breed of dolls and so far there are six different models to collect. They are fun, can be changed around to reflect your mood, style, feel for the day giving them a new look each morning.
We’ve enjoyed these dolls, why not check out the range now?

Surania, a Spanish online company offers a unique service in buying your swimwear, it can be made to custom measurements, and you can choose your own fabric for each part of the swimsuit from the selection they have on offer on their website.
I let my children help choose from the array of patterned fabrics available to ensure it was something they liked. For Mister B, we chose classic style swim shorts with an elasticated waist and pocket on the back. We chose a blue palm tree design all over, although you could have a different design on the waistband and on the pocket. These fit him well and he was very pleased with them, they appear to be a good cut and something he looks forward to wearing.
For girls there is a much wider choice with a choice of swimsuits or bikinis. Miss M chose a swimsuit, of which there are six designs, each with different straps, bows and frills etc. The design she chose has a bow in the centre which you could select a different fabric for. We chose a pink paisley style pattern for the main body and plain pink for the bow.
Miss M liked her swimsuit although we did find it fitted quite snug and she does prefer a more looser fit in clothes, but you could get that by ordering a slightly larger size. You have two options for buying the right size. You can either enter in your child’s height and age for a simple fit (which we did) or for a more accurate fit, you can take more detailed measurements to include waist, hips etc.The children are happy with their swimsuit designs and I’m happy with the quality, the swimsuit is double layered and all the stitching seems strong. Obviously being custom designed, this swimwear does cost more than your regular high street purchases, but I bet you won’t bump into anyone else in the same design as you wearing one of these. If you want something a little bit different, then Surania is worth trying. Just bear in mind though, that the clothing is made in Spain, and it does take a few weeks for your swimwear to be made up and delivered.
