Chuggington has always been one of my 4yr olds favourite programmes, he loves watching it in the mornings over breakfast before heading to nursery. With the Series 5 currently airing, it’s soon to be released on DVD and with two new characters being introduced, Dock Master Skipper Stu and Daley this series is sure to be a lot of fun!

“New and existing young fans can watch their favourite Trainees face more challenges, learn new skills and discover a sense of achievement through teamwork, courage and determination. Along the way, they will be able to explore the brand new freight and delivery hub – the Chuggington Docks – and meet exciting new characters such as Dock Master Skipper Stu who organises the loading and unloading of the freight containers from the ship and Daley – the High Speed delivery courier. Pre-schoolers can also ride the rails with the likes of Hamish and Harry, the mighty haulers, as they transport heavy, long and wide loads around Chuggington.”

We’ve had a sneak preview of Series 5 and it was thoroughly enjoyed by my little boy. He loved seeing a new episode and meeting the new engines and can’t wait to see the rest of the Series when the new DVD is released!

Mister B who is 4, loves Chuggington, he has a good selection of track and loves to play and act out with his favourite characters. Two new characters appear in this dvd Payce and Fire Chugger Asher who Mister B loved. What’s really good about this dvd set is that a story cd is also included, absolutely perfect to play to little ones at bedtime. I still read Mister B a bedtime story but when I am gone he can listen to this and enjoy the Chuggington adventures for a little while longer.

Chuggington Ready to Build DVD – Review & Giveaway

The latest DVD release from Chuggington is Chuggineers – Ready to Build and is perfect for any young Chuggington fans. Containing the usual excitement of footage, Mister B was keen to watch the action with his favourite characters Brewster and co.

There is plenty to keep Chuggington fans entertained. Also included in this DVD is a poster, perfect to put on little ones bedroom walls. For us, the poster is always a talking point at bedtime and Mister B loves catching an episode of the dvd during the day before playing with his Chuggington trainset. The DVD has kept him thoroughly entertained and is one he will watch many times over.

Chuggington Chugger of the Year DVD – Review

One thing that any little boy loves is trains, and a programme that both of mine have always loved watching is Chuggington on CBeebies. It always keeps them amused watching Brewster, Koko, Zephie and the other trainees going about their tasks so when we were sent the new Chuggington Chugger of the Year DVD to review, both their faces lit up and they couldn’t wait to watch it.

The Chugger of the Year DVD features seven exciting episodes that kept my two thoroughly entertained. They watched all seven straight through, both glued to the television excited to see what happened next. And once it was over they asked to watch them again – a sure sign of good entertainment!

The episodes included on this Chuggington Chugger of the Year DVD are:

Also included with the Chuggington Chugger of the Year DVD is a fabulous die cast train “Speedy McAllister”, which was a huge hit with Mister B. He’s loved pushing it along, in fact he has taken it everywhere with him this last week. Little does he know but mummy has a Chuggington train set put away for later in the year – can’t wait to see his face when he can add Speedy to the other trains and play with them all on the roundhouse and track!

Speedy is a great little addition to this DVD and something that is sure to be enjoyed by all little Chuggington fans. The DVD has been a huge success with my children, and been watched many times over already – it’s great to entertain them on rainy days or in the morning before breakfast.

We’d definitely recommend it – a big hit with us!
