Phytalotion is a moisturiser with added benefits that help with the recovery of scars, stretch marks, reduce wrinkles and smooth skin tones. It’s key ingredient is rosehip oil which smells utterly divine. Phytalotion has a sister product Phytaoil, which is used in the same way on the skin, the only difference being the format of the product. I have chosen to try the lotion as opposed to the oil as I’ve never tried rosehip in a lotion based product before and wanted to see if it felt as good as using an oil.
The lotion comes in an easy to use pump bottle that allows you to dispense just the right amount. I wanted to try this on my face to combat ageing as well as to improve skin tone as I have some acne scarring on my cheeks. I also have used this on my lower stomach where I accumulated a rather nasty patch of stretchmarks during my second pregnancy and any improvement I can bring to that area would be gratefully appreciated.
The lotion is really smooth and silky and glides onto skin and is immediately absorbed leaving skin feeling richly moisturised. Although this product contains no preservatives or fragrances, the natural rosehip gives the most wonderful smell that stays lingering on your fingers after application. Along with rosehip, the lotion contains natural oils from apricot kernels, jojoba seeds, lavender, lime and geranium which all help with the skin’s regenerative process.
I’ve really enjoyed using Phytalotion and will continue to do so. It feels rich, but not greasy, it’s left my skin feeling more supple and better hydrated. I’m hoping with continued use I will notice a difference with scars and stretchmarks but for now my skin does feel more youthful and a lot fresher looking.
Phytalotion has been a pleasure on my skin to use and at just £9.99 a bottle, great value too!
