CanvasChamp are one of the newest canvas providers on the market and they offer some amazing prices along with good quality canvases that look fabulous on your wall. If you are interested in other ways to present your photos they also offer metal prints, engravings, cushions and acrylics to mention just a few so they really do have something for everyone in lots of different styles.

We tried out a basic photo canvas which I’m really pleased with. The frame is approximately an inch thick for my 16 x 20″ (40 x 50cm) canvas so it looks good quality with a chunky feel. The quality of the photo came out really well and looks bright and clear on the canvas. It also comes with a centre hook to use to hang on the wall although we are still deciding where to place ours, as we are just starting to decorate the downstairs of our house.

The ordering process was really simple from uploading the photo, adjusting it’s position, and selecting the finishing touches you wanted. You can even change how the photo is wrapped around the sides of the canvas or leave the sides white.

Personalised Tablet Case Review

My Personalised Case have a wide range of covers for your phones and tablets with the bonus of them being personalised and customised in what ever way you choose. From colours to text and even photos there really is something for everyone. They even have a great choice of styles of cover from hard cases, wrap around or smart covers so if you want to make your own phone case then this is the place to go.

With an iPad in our household in much need of a new cover I opted to try out one of the smart covers with it personalised using a photo of my beloved children. I’ve not had any experience with a smart cover before so was intrigued to see what they were like. Firstly I had to place my order through the website which I have to say was extremely simple and user friendly and although I could have customised the case in various ways I chose to simply just add a photograph. It was easy to upload and then I could size it as I felt best to fit the cover. Delivery was quick and efficient and arrived in just a few days.

Firstly I needed to attach the new cover to the iPad which is done by a magnetic hinge on the side of the cover. I was really impressed with how well this gripped onto the tablet and just sat in place perfectly. It really did fit like a glove!!

Next was to check out the various opening options, so apart from the obvious folding the whole cover open as a whole, you can fold the cover along the indented lines and create either a slightly slanted screen for working on or a more upright screen to use when viewing something. Both of these hold really well and sit at great angles appropriate to what you are using it for.

Overall I’m impressed with the cover from My Personalised Case in both the quality of the product, the quality of the personalised image and the fit to the tablet. Teachers Cards using the Postsnap app

At the end of the school year, little ones love to thank their teacher usually with a card and a small gift. Rather than browsing the shops for a card, why not create one from home and have it delivered to you ready for you to sign and give to yoru teacher. The bonus with this is not only do you not need to leave your chair, but you can personalise the card with custom words and photos. Postsnap is the perfect app to offer this service and provide high quality cards within a couple of days to your door.

There’s an array of ‘Thank you’ cards to choose from including general ones or ones that specify teacher on them. As my 5yr old was choosing one for his teacher, he chose a rather cute one that says ‘To a great teacher’ and then allows you to add in the teacher’s name (I have blanked it our for privacy below). You can then take a photo of your child using your phone or tablet and insert it straight into the card, in this case an apple shaped frame.

Inside the card you can print the words you desire, or we chose to leave it blank so my little boy can add his own handwriting inside. The process is so simple, you can create a card in just a few minutes. This really is worth doing if you don’t want to trawl the shops, and also want to make the card a little bit special.

I must just say that the quality of the card is great and it is also a really good size. The cards are A5 and look brilliant, my little boy can’t wait to give his to his teacher next week.

Wallcreate Canvas Review and Giveaway

Everyone loves turning their photos into canvasses to adorn their walls, so when Wallcreate contacted me to try out one of their canvas prints, I was keen to see what they were like. Having spent the previous weekend at our local National Trust property, I knew I had a picture of the children looking over the estuary that would be good to turn into a canvas for my wall.

The canvas is 40x30cm printed onto high quality canvas cotton with a 2cm wooden frame. What I like about Wallcreate is the variety of options they offer you during the ordering service, from the different sizes of canvas, choice of 2 frame depths, choice of colour of the edge of the frame and various effects you can add to your picture.

I’m really pleased with my canvas, it was hard to get a good photo to show you with all these dark days we are having but the picture is clear, just as in the original photograph. These canvasses are great if you have a photo you want to treasure and have on display or they also make a great gift to give to someone.

Mr Nutcase Personalised Phone Cover – Review

Mr Nutcase produce personalised mobile phone and tablet covers to any design of your choice, be it one of their instantly available designs, a design of your own or by adding your own photo. Even the readily available colours and patterns can be additionally customised with clip art and text. You really can make a truly unique case.

I decided to surprise my husband with a new phone cover and with him having an iPhone I had the choice of an Ultra Lightweight Slimline case or an Executive Flip Leather Style. I would have liked to get the leather style case for him but on these only one side is printed and the other is plain white which I feel isn’t really suited to him and not a particularly manly choice. If they had the same option in black then I would definitely have gone for this – hopefully this option will become available in the future.

So I went with the Ultra Lightweight Slimline case and chose a photograph of our children to go on the back. I could then customise the colour to go either side of the picture and add any text clip art I wanted. I decided to keep things simple and went with just one large picture. I must point out that you can create a picture collage on the cover using one of the many varieties of collage templates they offer. The choice is excellent.

When the cover arrived quite literally the next day, I was very pleased with it and put it on my husbands phone when he wasn’t looking. He was thrilled when he first saw it and thought it was a great way to carry a picture of his children around with him. The picture looked good and for some reason I hadn’t really thought about the sides of the cover. I imagined they would be dark like the background of the photo but instead they were transparent – something I actually really like and think gives a fresh, modern feel,

We are very happy with the Mr Nutcase phone cover, the delivery service was excellent, the availability of design and customisation is great and the finished product is of a good quality. I’d definitely use Mr Nutcase again for a personalised cover.

Canvasdesign Photo Canvas – Review

Canvasdesign produce high quality photo canvasses in a multitude of sizes from just 6 inches square right the way up to 40 inches! I’ve never had a photo put onto canvas before but was intrigued as to what it’d be like so keenly took up the opportunity from Canvasdesign to try one.

I chose a photo of my two children from the start of this year, Miss M’s 6th birthday, it is one of few I have where both children are looking at the camera and there aren’t any random objects or people lurking in the background.

The canvas arrived wrapped very securely in what seemed like endless layers of corrugated cardboard – this kept the children amused for the rest of the day while mummy could sit back and enjoy her new canvas!! lol

Once I got to bottom layer and saw the canvas, I have to say I was highly impressed, the quality is excellent! The canvas was really thick too, a good one and a half inches deep, wrapped around a solid pine frame. The canvas comes supplied with a hanging kit, although I didn’t use that due to the solid stone walls in my house that are a nightmare to drill through and I also have the original picture rail which we prefer to use to hang pictures from.

Our canvas has taken pride of place in our front room above the tv and being approximately 28 by 18 inches, a custom size, this fills the space nicely. I’m very happy with it and love looking at it each day.
