Casmara Balancing Algae Peel Off Mask is a high quality face mask that helps to combat the signs of ageing as well as giving you a relaxing treatment. The mask is formulated with Tibetan Goji Berries, Betaine and Honey, which are active ingredients to help protect the skin and combat the appearance of ageing.
The face mask comes in a bottle shaped container where the cup shaped lid is used as a mixing bowl for the mask. You also get two sachets, a spatula and a mini tube of balancing cream to be applied before and after the treatment. You then add the two sachets to the cup, one is a serum like liquid, the other is a powder and mix together thoroughly.
Once you have mixed completely, use the spatula to make long sweeps across the face. The mixture does stick to the face although did take several swipes of the spatula to stay put and it needs to be applied quite quickly before it starts to set. The mask is even applied over the lips and eyes to help nourish them which meant taking a selfie of the mask on the face proved a little tricky. With about 20 attempts the one below is the most centred!
It is then time to lay back and relax for about 20 minutes. What I can say about this mask is that it is truly relaxing and felt like a salon treatment. It was cooling on the face but with my eyes shut felt so calming and and the ultimate 20 minutes of relaxation.
After the 20 minutes, the mask simply peels off the face in one complete piece, leaving not a trace of product on your skin. Instead your skin feels totally relaxed, hydrated, moisturised and looks more radiant. The above right photo shows me immediately after the mask and I think you can I look relaxed and my skin is glowing!
